Aiko AI operates the website at aiko-ai.net and the companion chat experience offered through it. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Aiko AI” refer to the operator of that service, and “you” refers to any person who visits the site or uses Aiko AI.

This policy explains what information Aiko AI collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what choices you have. It applies to the website, the companion chat and any related communication we send you.

3. Your agreement

By using Aiko AI you confirm that you have read this policy and understand how your information is handled. If any part of it is unacceptable to you, please stop using the service.

4. Age requirement

Aiko AI is intended only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete the associated data.

5. Account information

When you create an account we collect an email address and a password stored in hashed form. You may optionally add a display name. We do not require your legal name, address or telephone number.

6. Conversation content

Messages you exchange with an Aiko AI companion are stored so the conversation can continue across sessions. They are linked to your account and are not published, sold or shared with other users.

7. Preference data

We store the settings you choose, such as your preferred companion, tone, language and notification options, so that the service behaves consistently each time you return.

8. Technical information

Like most websites, Aiko AI records basic technical details such as browser type, device type, approximate region derived from IP address, and the pages you viewed. This helps us keep the service fast and secure.

9. Payment details

If you choose a paid option, payment is handled by an external payment provider. Aiko AI never sees or stores your full card number. We keep only a record that a transaction occurred and its status.

10. Information we never ask for

We do not ask for government identification documents, biometric data, health records, financial account credentials or the contents of your address book. Please do not send such material to us.

11. Why we process your data

We use your information to operate the service, keep your conversations continuous, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations and improve the quality of Aiko AI companions.

20. Deleting your history

You can clear an individual conversation or your entire chat history from within Aiko AI at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by us.

21. Your access rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete it. We answer verified requests within thirty days.

22. Objection and restriction

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it. Tell us what you object to and we will explain what is possible.

23. Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place while consent was valid.

24. Marketing messages

We send service emails such as password resets and security notices. Promotional email is optional, and every promotional message contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

25. Automated decisions

Aiko AI does not make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you. Companion responses are generated content and are not decisions about your rights or entitlements.

26. Nature of the companions

All Aiko AI companions are fictional characters. Their names, biographies and images are creative works and do not depict real individuals or their private lives.

27. Third-party links

Our pages may link to external websites. Once you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy practices apply and this policy no longer covers your activity.

28. Data breach handling

If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we notify the relevant authority and affected users without undue delay, describing what happened and what we recommend you do.

29. Children's content

We do not create or permit companion content that depicts minors. Attempts to steer conversations in that direction lead to immediate account termination and, where required, a report to the authorities.

30. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

31. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version, and material changes are announced on the site.
